ALDO’S RISTORANTE ITALIANO

Ristorante Aldo's is located at the former Copper Coffee Pot, where Santa Barbarans have been dining since 1927. Our building dates back to the Janssens-Orella Adobe (1857), and is a city landmark in the National Register of Historic Places. Aldo's is easily accessible via the State Street shuttle, and from more than 1,500 parking spaces within one block.

Also close by are: Lobero, Arlington, Granada, Alhecama, and Center Stage theaters; courthouse, post office, city hall, and county administration; El Presidio, El Paseo, Victoria Court, and Paseo Nuevo; and 16 motion picture screens.

Aldo's is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Dine outdoors in our heated fountain-courtyard or in our beautiful, classically-inspired dining room. ABOUT US

Hi, my name is Mark Sherman and I own and manage Aldo’s. I have been in the restaurant business since 1977, when as a fifteen year old I got my first job as a bus boy in an Italian Restaurant in Pennsylvania. Through my college years and beyond, and from coast to coast, I have worked every aspect of the craft. A Santa Barbaran since 1984, I purchased Aldo’s in 1991. I believe this business is really very simple: "Treat people well, pay attention to what their needs and desires are, and people will be happy".

Hospitality and entertaining run in my family. I am married to local event and meeting planner Tami Sherman. Tami’s consulting business has a corporate meeting and event emphasis.

My wife Tami and I, along with our three sons Wilson and twins Benjamin and Evan, are proud to be members of the Santa Barbara community. We look forward to welcoming you to Aldo’s.
